Happy Christmas Eve everyone!  We went to the Bachman annual Christmas party last weekend.  Austin and I won the costume contest dressed as Jesus and Mary.  We pocketed ourselves a $50 gift card, pretty exciting!

Tanya and Jeff's Birthday

 

We celebrated Jeff and Tanya's birthday at Ernie's Bar and Pizza at 44th and Federal.  I brought them a dozen beautiful balloons. I had never been to Ernie's before and didn't realize it would be so crowded, I felt pretty stupid carrying them through the restaurant.  After dinner we all headed to Becca's house for the rest of the night where Jeff inhaled all the helium from the balloons.  He couldn't have been happier.

We were in Breck to celebrate a friends birthday.  Before the gang all went skiing/snowboarding we met up at Kristi and John's restaurant, North Side Pizza.  There were some interesting outfits.

Denver Museum of Contemporary Art

We have a membership to the Denver Museum of Contemporary Art.  Every time we go Austin and I are confused about what we just saw yet we keep going back.  This trip was no disappointment, very strange stuff.  Although, I was disappointed I didn't get a pigeon.  There is one "art" program going on now where you can take a pigeon home and let it go, then it will fly back to the museum.  We were too early to get one.  So sad.

Denver Night Out

 Julia on the rooftop of the Ale House.  It's the best view of Denver and they have two fire pits to keep you toasty.

Last weekend we went out to eat at Zengo, which as always was delicious.  Then we walked across the bridge to the Lower Highlands and went to the semi new Ale House at Amato's (also known as the Breckenridge Brewery) and the Denver Beer Co.  If you are in the mood to watch some cheesy hipsters stop by the Denver Beer Co.

Stuck

I just nailed a curb in a parking garage and gave poor Vivienne Volvo a flat tire. I am stuck on the 5th floor till roadside assistance gets here. Bummer. I would show you all a picture but the camera on my phone suddenly doesn't work. Double whammy.

If you are near 20th and Ogden I will be accepting free lunches between the hours of 12-2pm.   

Cousins

How could this be?  Is it really possible?  All four kids are actually looking straight, smiling (minus Sully), eyes all open, and not making goofy faces.  It's a miracle!

It's officially November which means the Christmas advertisements are in full swing.  If you are looking for a gift for a book lover I recommend the Barnes and Noble Nook. I love it! 

You know what else is awesome about November?  Thanksgiving!  And you know what's awesome about Thanksgiving this year?  My birthday!  I'll be 31 on Thanksgiving Day.

Sunday Brunch
