House Construction

Here are some house updates...

All the parts that are covered in Tyvek are the addition.

 Future kitchen and living room before drywall.

Drywall begins!  Now it's starting to look like a real house.

Gray

We decided to paint the inside of our new house gray.  I thought it would be a simple task to pick out a standard light gray and a darker accent gray for all the walls.  WRONG.  I was not aware that there is no true color gray.  Each version has a tint of green, blue or even brown.  I enlisted my mom's help in this difficult task and after four trips to Guiry's we finally landed on the correct shades.  Now I still have to make another trip back because the white samples we chose for the trim all seem to have a blue tint.  Back for trip #5 tonight. 

Thanks mom, it's gray-tastic! 

New House

Here is the brand new upstairs of our soon to be house! I can't wait till it's finished. Jay got the memo to smile, Austin did not.
